Pakistan Japan Business Forum and their counterpart in Japan, Japan Pakistan Business Co-operation Committee (JPBCC) are jointly holding their 7th Joint Business Dialogue in Islamabad on 10th November, 2015.
The Japanese side is being led by the Chairman of JPBCC, Teruo Asad, and also the Chairman of the Japanese Conglomerate, Marubeni Corporation with almost 50 Japanese members. Pakistan side will be led by Sohail P. Ahmed, Chairman of PJBF and a Director of House of Habib with almost the same number of Pakistani delegates. Japanese delegates will comprise of members from sectors covering Automotive, Trading, Banking, Textile, Steel, Construction, Infra Structure, Oil and Energy and would be interacting with their Pakistani counterparts.
Delegates from the public sector of Japan would be led a Senior Member from the Economy, Trade and Industry Ministry, commonly referred to as METI and would hold meetings with their Pakistani counter parts to discuss the way forward to improve Trade and Investment between Pakistan and Japan. Elaborate programme is being arranged by both sides in co-operation with the Pakistan Embassy in Japan and the Government of Pakistan in consultation with the Japanese Embassy in Islamabad.-PR
