Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman on Wednesday called on King Abdullah II Ibn El Hussein at Amman, Jordan. The Air Chief conveyed the best wishes and greetings from the government and people of Pakistan. He also appreciated King Abdullah's role in promoting peace and stability in the region and thanked the Jordanian government for an unwavering support to Pakistan.
King Abdullah expressed his satisfaction on the level of brotherly relations and bilateral co-operation between the two countries. He lauded PAF's role in fighting the war against terrorism and reiterated his resolve to stand by Pakistan in any hour of need.
He also expressed Jordan's keenness to further boost co-operation with Pakistan in the field of defence in general and Air Force in particular, said a PAF press release issued here.
Also present in the meeting were Prince Feisal bin El Hussein, General Mashal Mohammad Al-Zaben, Advisor to His Majesty the King on Military Affairs and Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff and Major General Mansour Salim Al-Jobour, Commander, Royal Jordanian Air Force. Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, Chief of the Air staff, Pakistan Air Force is on an official visit to Jordan on the special invitation of Royal Jordanian Air Force.
