Emirate Airlines should give incentives to the importers and exporters of Multan and facilitate them up to their satisfaction, said Mian Fareed Mughis'A Sheikh president of Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry during a meeting with district sales manager of Emirate Air, Umar Tauqueer.
The meeting was also attended by senior sales executive Irfan Qadir and Secretary General of MCCI Khurram Javed. Mian Fareed said that Emirates is the world's biggest international carrier, the seventh largest airline in the world in terms of revenue, and the largest airline in the Middle East in terms of revenue, fleet size, and passengers carried. The airline is also the fourth-largest airline in the world in terms of international passengers carried.
It is a great honour for people of Multan that Emirate had selected this city for its flight operation to provide travel facilities for more than 140 destinations. He hoped that this airline would play its role in the development and business expansion of this zone.
He suggested that Emirate airlines should provide the facility of cold-storage and cold-chain for the exporters of fresh vegetables and fruits on commercial basis so that products of this zone could be introduced in international market.
He said that new avenues of economic prosperity and development would be opened. District Manager Umar Tauqueer assured the full co-operation with Multan chamber and strengthening the liaison.
