Birsk trade was seen in Brazilian soyameal and European rapeseed meal in Europe's animal feed market on Friday after prices were pushed down by a sharp fall in benchmark Chicago soyameal futures, traders said. In Europe Brazilian high protein soyameal for November delivery was offered for sale down $7 at $377 a tonne CIF Rotterdam. Argentine November delivery high protein soyameal was down $4 at $365 a tonne CIF Rotterdam.
Brazilian soyameal with 48 percent profat (protein/fat) content traded at $357 a tonne CIF while afloat on the ship Aris T, which is expected to arrive in Amsterdam around December 18, dealers said. The same grade of Brazilian soyameal also traded on the vessel Koutalianos at $355 a tonne CIF with expected arrival in Amsterdam around November 9-10 and on the LBC Nature at $358 a tonne CIF for expected arrival in Amsterdam around December 7, they said. November delivery of the same soyameal grade from Brazil also traded at $357 and December at $360 a tonne FOB Rotterdam/Amsterdam, they said. No comparative trades were reported on Thursday. December/January rapeseed meal traded at 217 euros and February/April traded at 227 euros a tonne both FOB lower Rhine, with rapeseed sales offers down 1 to 3 euros on Thursday.
