'Bar, bench working towards fair, speedy justice'

Lahore High Court Chief Justice Ijazul Hassan, who took part on Thursday in a reception honouring him, claimed that the bar and the bench were working together to help litigants for fair and speedy justice. In a speech at the reception set up by the Lahore High Court Bar Association, he said, "The bench, like the past, will continue to extend its good assistance to resolve problems. The bar and the bench have always good relations that move forward like the two wheels of a cart. Judges respect bar members, specially senior and learned lawyers, and expect the same.
