All Pakistan Customs Agents Association (APCAA) is going to organise "APCAA convention" in December. According to APCCA Vice Chairman Arshad Jamal, association chairman is heading the whole process of APCAA restructuring. He said that Customs agents were supposed to have integral role in taxation system as their services did not only facilitate trade but also provide assistance to the FBR to achieve revenue targets.
Moreover, he said services of clearing agents are also being acclaimed at governmental level that led the permission of different important sectors' licenses to them. APCAA, which is now a member of FPCCI, is also striving for maximum utilisation of federation platform for the benefit of agents' community.

He said that research cell is being established where members could get detailed and updated information about every sector and task team would assist the cell for resolving members' problems. Moreover, he said that APCAA was also planning to form anti-corruption cell to eliminate corruption and maintain transparency in Customs process and added that standing committees would also be established to deal with the collectorate and other departments countrywide.
