Pakistan's record breaking batsman Younis Khan was accorded warm welcome when he arrived here at Jinnah International Airport on his return from United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Saturday. Dozens of his fans and supporters were at the airport to receive him and lifted him on their shoulders. During the course of Test series Younis become the first Pakistan batsman to complete 9000 runs with 31 centuries. "It was satisfying to complete such records and accomplish something for the country," he told reporters on arrival from Dubai.
He supported holding series between two arch-rival Pakistan and India without elaborating it should be held in UAE, India or Pakistan. Responding to question regarding his sudden retirement from ODIs, Younis replied that he just took the decision and called it day. Younis however, said he would be continuing playing Test cricket as long, he enjoying it and remain fit.
