Terming the LNG project as excellent, President Mamnoon Hussain on Wednesday said that serving the people and resolving their issues within the available resources was the real achievement. The President was briefed on the Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) project by Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi here at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, according to a press release.
He said the project would help meet the energy needs of the country. The President praised the transparent nature of the project and said the work on such low cost and beneficial projects should be expedited so that the national economy could be improve and basic facilities be made available to the people at the earliest.
The President expressed satisfaction that the country's economy was on the right track for which the economic team deserved praise. He said Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was a competent and dedicated person who always held national interest supreme. Secretary Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources, Arshad Mirza, Director General LNG Project, Managing Director Inter State Gas System and senior officials of the President's Secretariat also attended the briefing.
