Engineering Development Board (EDB) has compiled a directory of engineering goods exporters 2015. The directory contains database of more than 170 exporters and reflects the efforts of EDB for effectively promoting engineering capabilities of the local industry.
According to EDB sources, the directory will serve as a tool not only for enhancing the scope of trade activities but would also bring opportunities for the business development and networking among foreign investors and companies exploring investment opportunities in Pakistan. The first edition of this directory was published in 2013 and was widely distributed and had received acknowledgement from different quarters.
The second edition of the directory was consist of the message of Federal Minister for Industries and Production in his message said that at this time when the country is to touch new heights of economic development and the present government's commitment to expand regional and international trade we need to promote the potentials of the country in order to encourage foreign investment and trade in various sectors for the economic uplift.
