Newly appointed US envoy calls on Fatemi

The newly arrived Ambassador-designate of the US to Pakistan, David Hale, made his first courtesy call on the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs (SAPM), Syed Tariq Fatemi here on Monday. The Special Assistant welcomed Ambassador Hale to Pakistan and wished him success in his new assignment. Ambassador Hale expressed confidence that Pakistan-US relations would continue to follow a positive trajectory in the coming days and stressed that he looked forward to working closely with the Government of Pakistan to this end.
