Bomb found near CTD office

A bomb was found outside the office of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) located in Civil Line on Monday. The office of the CTD was evacuated before the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) combed the venue and found a bomb placed in shopping bag. Later, the BDS team has defused the bomb. The CTD has been carrying out an intensive campaign against terrorists in Karachi, arresting a large number of suspects involved in acts of terrorism during the last few months.
