The Punjab chief secretary is expecting current development projects in the province be completed in the stipulated time. Khizar Hayat Gondal chairing a meeting of administrative secretaries' committee at the Civil Secretaries on Wednesday discussed in detail about the Annual Development Programme, Citizen Feedback Model, building by-laws and cases of pension and department inquiries.
In his address, he said several development projects were under way in the province. "The timely completion of these projects is priority of the government. The Citizen Feedback Model is the best source of getting public opinion about government institutions." He also directed that all possible steps be taken to improve this model. He then ordered department heads to conduct a survey of repair and reconstruction work and the authorities to ensure strict implementation of building by-laws.
