Google keyboard’s new feature let users create sticker version of themselves

Just like Apple’s ‘Memoji’ and Snapchat’s ‘Bitmoji’ where users can create their personal avatars, Google has also launched a similar feature where users can make personalized emojis using their picture.

Google recently launched ‘Mini’ stickers for iOS and Android for its Google keyboard, Gboard. This feature will help people use machine learning in order to make personalized emoji from their photo.

As per Engadget, the feature makes use of a blend of neural networks, machine learning and artist illustrations to create the best cartoon emoji representation of the user. For creating the perfect avatar, Mini takes into consideration different traits such as skin tone, eye color, face shape, facial hair, and hair color and style.

In order to use the feature, the user would only have to access Mini from within Gboard and begin with creation process simply by just clicking a selfie. The feature will then automatically generate the avatar and make up packs of stickers to use.

Mini can make 100 new sticker styles via the personalized avatar in two different packs including glittery-eyed ‘Sweet’ and a little angrier counterpart ‘Bold’. The user has an excess of stickers to choose from depending on their moods, without the need of using words, wrote Mashable.
