It seems aliens from outer space are involved in tax evasion, money laundering and transfer of billions of dollars abroad, otherwise those responsible for alleged misappropriations of over Rs 600 billion every year as per a former Finance Minister, would have been caught by FBR. Nobody cried foul, when for over two centuries the East India Company was involved in transferring of assets, natural resources and rare metals worth trillions, but all hell breaks loose when some of our own follow suit. There was also another former Chairman NAB who stated that Rs 900 million was being pilfered daily by 'criminal-backed' economy in Karachi alone.
The Pakistani state having established enormity of black economy and tax evasion must have made all out efforts, with all these institutions and government departments like FBR, FIA, IB, Customs, Coast Guards, etc, at work with all their skilled manpower and paraphernalia, but cannot be expected to detect extra terrestrial aliens involved in this conspiracy against Pakistan.
Pakistan after all is a land of opportunities for those who dare. It is time that witch hunting of honest traders, politicians and retired bureaucrats or generals for holding foreign bank accounts, buying hotels, buildings, factories and thousands of acres in Australia, the UK, the UAE, France, Canada, etc, must now come to a halt.
