A passionate competition was witnessed between national level golfers during the All Pakistan Garrison Open Golf Tournament that was held at the lush green Lahore Garrison Golf and Country Club (LGG&CC) from December 3-6, 2015.
Commander Lahore Corps, Lieutenant General Sadiq Ali who is the Patron Chief was the chief guest and awarded prizes to the winners. Muhammad Tariq of Islamabad Golf with - 9 was declared winner of the tournament. While, Imdad Hussain of LGG&CC stood second.
In the amateurs category the 1st prize was won by Muhammad Mushtaq from Multan Golf Club with 228 gross. The 2nd position went to Abdul Zahoor also of Multan Golf Club he played 230 gross. Salman Jahngir of Lahore Gymkhana was 3rd with 231 gross. While in net the 1st position was won by Raza Said of Lahore Gymkhana with 211 net, 2nd position went to Faisal Syed of Royal Palm with 215 net. The 3rd position was won by Syed Raza Ali of Mangla Golf Club with 216 net.
In the senior professionals Imdad Hussain of LGG&CC got 1st prize with 70 points. The 2nd position was won by Asghar Ali of Lahore Gymkhana with 71 score. The 3rd position was shared Mr Akbar Ali and Mohammad Ilyas of Lahore Gymkhana with 72 points.
In the senior amateurs category Mr Javed Ahmed of Lahore Gymkhana won first prize with 78 points. While the 2nd and 3rd position went to Lt Col Raja Asif Mehdi and M. Omar Khan of LGG&CC with 78 and 80 score respectively.
