Provincial Minister for Labour & Manpower Raja Ashfaq Sarwar has said that Pakistani doctors are rendering invaluable services in provision of medical facilities. He said that Punjab government is providing huge amount for improving health sector. He expressed these views while addressing inaugural ceremony of 25th national conference of ear, nose and throat (ENT) under the aegis of Pakistan Society of Otorhinolaryngology. The Minister said that due to ENT conference, young doctors will get awareness of modern techniques of treatment.
Earlier, Chairman Organising Committee Professor Dr Muhammad Ajmal highlighted the aims and objective of the conference. Later, the Minister distributed lifetime achievement awards, among six Pakistani ENT experts, on their excellent services in ENT sector. Those who received awards include Lt. Gen. Muhammad Ayub, Professor Khalid Mehmood, Professor Kamal Muzaffar, Professor Mohibullah, Professor Wajait Ullah Khan Bangash and Brig. Danial Rasheed.
