12th SAARC Trade Fair and 9th Wexnet concluded here today at the expo centre amid thousands of people visited the gala. Due to weekend, a huge number of Lahoriites turned up and took keen interest in the products on display. Mostly women took keen interest in the garments, jewellery and handicraft stalls and appreciated the quality of the products on display. People were also seen taking interest in the products of SAARC countries stalls.
The exhibitors appreciated the efforts of TDAP for successfully conducting both the events under one roof and opined that such activities would help promote intra trade in the region. "People to people contact would help enhance mutual trade as well enable the people to be capable of understanding each other's socio-economic needs in perspective of trade relations, they added. -PR
