IPCC meeting to finalise CCI agenda by December 20: National Assembly informed

Minister for Inter-Provincial Co-ordination, Riaz Hussain Pirzada Thursday said that a meeting of Inter-Provincial Co-ordination Committee would be held by 20th instant to finalise the agenda for Council of Common Interests (CCI). The minister informed the National Assembly while responding to MNA Shazia Marri of Pakistan Peoples' party (PPP).
He said that forthcoming meeting of Inter-Provincial Co-ordination Committee would finalise the agenda for the CCI. He said that the representatives of the provinces would also participate in the meeting. "Till the provinces do not settle their issues and finalize the agenda, the meeting of CCI cannot be summoned. I hope the agenda would be finalised in the forthcoming meeting and the CCI may meet in January, 2016."
He said that all the provinces would be taken onboard before holding the meeting of the CCI. Earlier, Shazia Marri said that many months have passed but the federal government did not summon due meeting of the CCI, which shows their lack of seriousness.
