A rising trend was witnessed on the wholesale grain market on Saturday in the process of trading, dealer said. On the cereals side, Makai was up by Rs 125 to Rs 2625 and Rs 2650, Masoor Dall Canada quoted higher at Rs 12000 and Rs 12500, they said.
On the rice sector, sela Basmati low type was higher by Rs 200 to Rs 5000 and better variety also gained Rs 500 to Rs 5500, Irri-6 Sindh low type picked up Rs 85 to Rs 2860 and good type was up by Rs 75 to Rs 2950, Irri-white (broken) was higher by Rs 100 to Rs 2500 and Rs 2600, they said. On the seed side, cottonseed oilcake with bag low type was unchanged at Rs 2000 and the best quality was lower by Rs 25 to Rs 2100, castor seeds shed Rs 300 to Rs 3800, they said. Prices showed no change on the grams sector, they said.
