ISE index down by 51.57 points

Bears dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities showed negative signs under the lead of hot favourite amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index was down by 51.57 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 2,695.70 to 2,644.13 points. The overall turnover amounted to 71,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 8,600 shares.
Total 133 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (107) closed in negative territory, 25 landed in plus column and 01 company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Pakistan Petroleum was 70,000 shares. The volume of Silk Bank was 1,000 shares.
