Hundreds of rally participants including citizens and public servants on Monday have widely condemned terrorism across the country, paid great tribute to martyrs of Peshawar Army Public School (APS) and pledged continue fighting against terrorism networks at every nook and corners. The rally participants led by Multan Additional Collector Manzar Javed chanted slogans against terrorism.
The rally was started from Qila Qasim Bagh and marched towards Lohari Gate, Ghantha Ghar, Kutchery road and finally it was culminated at chowk Kutchery. The rally participants yelled, "A year has been passed but the wounds of APS carnage are still fresh. The education for all is the real avenge from terrorists and it would ultimately wipe out terrorism from the country. We pay glowing tribute to armed forces sacrificing lives in the war on terrorism"
The citizen paid glowing tributes to the soldiers of the country's armed forces, who are sacrificing their lives in war against terrorism, so that "our children can safely continue the mission of APS martyrs ie education. "The general public must line up against barbarians of terrorism network. We should not compromise on extremism destroying the entire fabric of the society. We must give a big hand to our soldiers fighting our fight against terrorism", citizen said. The December 16 was a Black Day in the history of humanity, which could never be forgot, they said.
Talking to journalists Multan Additional District Collector Manzar Ali Javed said that the rally was organised on the directions of Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif to express solidarity with the families of martyred children. He said the rally participants conveyed a message to terrorists that their days were numbered. He said the Operation Zarab-e-Azab would continue until the elimination of last terrorist.
