Apple to teach photo editing with over-the-phone classes

Although smartphones these days come with advanced DSLR-like camera features, seldom teach users how to take full advantage of those features. Apple has now launched a program to teach that to users over the phone.

Tech giant Apple has recently launched an over-the-phone training program that will teach users how to edit with Photos via a 30-minute one-on-one session with an expert. Though the program is for both iOS and masOS, it is only limited to the US.

From teaching about how to use simple adjustments like Auto Enhance, the program will also teach users deeper edits such as exposure and color balance. The program will also help edit users’ Live Photos and images taken in Portrait mode, along with teaching them how to crop and filter photos, and revert back the adjustments if the user wishes to start all over again, explained Apple.

The specialist will modify the session to users’ own skill level and show them how to get the desired results. The guide will make sure to highlight the tools the user is most interested in and demonstrate the best way to enhance each picture.

Moreover, in order to schedule session, the user would have to update their iPhone and iPad to the latest iOS, and their Mac to the latest masOS. Also, when using an iPhone to call and edit, user should use speakerphone or headphones so that their hands are free while they talk to the expert.

“The session is all about you, so bring your favorite photos and your questions,” wrote Apple.
