Army Chief General Raheel Sharif received the parents of martyrs of Army Public School Peshawar upon arrival at the school to attend the first anniversary here on Wednesday. The Army Chief expressed solidarity with the victims' families. The participants also rose from their seats upon arrival of the parents of APS martyrs at the venue.
The impressive was formally began with recitation from the Holy Quran followed by National Anthem. Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Chief Ministers of all four provinces, GB Chief Minister, Governor KP, Federal and Provincial Ministers besides top political leadership besides civil and military officers attended the ceremony. Chairman Joint Chief of Staff Committee General Rashid Mehmood and Services Chief were also present on the occasion.
