Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Friday announced a 15-member Pakistan Under-19 squad for the International Cricket Council (ICC) Under-19 Cricket World Cup-2016. This mega event will be staged in Bangladesh from 22nd January to 14th February, 2016. Gohar Hafeez has been named as skipper of Pakistan Under-19 Cricket Team while Zeeshan Malik will be the Vice Captain.
Junior Selection Committee of the PCB has chosen the squad and Chairman PCB Shaharyar Mohammad Khan has approved the Pakistan Under-19 squad. The selected 15 players are: Muhammad Umar Burki, Gohar Hafeez (Captain), Zeeshan Malik (Vice Captain), Hasan Mohsin, Muhammad Asad, Saif Badar, Hasan Khan, Salman Fayyaz, Shadab Khan, Umair Masood, Saif Ali Ghauri, Arfan Liaqat, Sameen Gul, Muhammad Arsal Shaikh and Muhammad Ahmad Shafiq, The reserve players include: Rizwan Ali, Ali Zaryab, Aqib Jadoon, Hamza Khan, Hayat Ullah. The team management is comprised of Zakir Khan (Manager), Muhammad Masroor (Head Coach), Muhammad Tayyib (Physiotherapist), Muhammad Talah Ejaz (Analyst) and Saboor Ahmad as Trainer.
