An international conference on emerging technologies was jointly organised by CECOS University and Sarhad University in collaboration of Higher Education Commission and IEEE Islamabad Section.
Six international speakers from United States, United Kingdom, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia while 60 authors from 27 countries presented their research papers in the conference.
Engr Muhammad Tanveer Javed, President CECOS University, was the Chief Guest of the closing ceremony. He awarded the participants with shields and certificates and appreciated the efforts of organising team in holding an academic event of International status.
He further said while addressing the gathering that such conference will open this region to developments in latest technology and researches, adding that students of both universities will learn from the experience of the scientists who participated in the event from across the globe.
Professor Dr Riaz A Khattak, Vice Chancellor CECOS University, concluded the session and stated that to ensure the quality of research work, ICET 2015 only accepted 30% papers after Peer Review by International counterparts. He emphasised that this conference unleashed new potential areas for research in emerging technologies and the students can get inspiration from the presented work in order to carry on their research activities.
