JUI-F Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has expressed deep concern over the deteriorating law and order situation and incidents of abduction and empty slogans at the government levels and demanded protection to lives and properties of the people.
This was stated in a meeting of the members of JUI-F executive council and ameers and general secretaries of districts and tribal agencies. The meeting comprising of two sessions held with provincial ameer, Maulana Gul Naseeb Khan in the chair.
Those who attended were included Maulana Atta-ur-Rehman, Maulana Shuja-ul-Mulk, Abdul Jalil Jan, Maulana Atta-ul-Haq Darwish, Maulana Rafiullah Qasmi, Mufti Kifayatullah, Mufti Fazal Ghafoor MPA, Ainuddin Shakir, Istiqbal Khan, Maulana Aziz Ahmad, Haji Faqir Mohammad, Maulana Abdurashid, Maulana Fazal Ghafoor, Maulana Mohammad Arshad, Sahibzada Fasihur Rehman, Dr Javed Nawab, Mufti Abdul Shakoor, Maulana Khair ul Bashar, Abdul Waheed Marwat, Abdullah Farhad, Haji Ghulam Habib, Mufti Mohammad Ajmal, Qari Mohammad Abdullah, Qari Samiullah, Qari Mehmood, Ishaq Zahid and others.
In light of apprehensions and reservations of the district chapters and patrons of seminaries, the meeting announced to resist action against the religious teaching institutions at all levels.
The provincial ameer JUI-F said that on one hand Interior Minister is defending clerics and seminaries, but on the other hand the Ministry of Interior, Provincial Home Department and police are raiding and arresting ulema and students.
He said that seminaries, clerics and JUI-F have stood by the government in all difficult times and had not only defended the country and Islam, rather they had not hesitated from rendering any kind of sacrifice.
He said that the government has lost capability to differentiate between friend and enemy.
