Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Monday directed the National Highway Authority (NHA) and Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) to ensure construction of high quality road infrastructure in the country to make it safe and cut down travel time. He was talking to Chairman Shahid Ashraf Tarar and Director General, Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) Major General Muhammad Afzal here at the PM House.
The prime minister was briefed on the progress of ongoing and upcoming projects in the country. The prime minister appreciated the work of NHA and FWO and directed that pace of work and quality should go together. "We must ensure transparency while executing projects," he said and added these projects will contribute in job creation, economic progress and industrial growth.
