Huge cache of weapons and ammunition were recovered in raids carried out by Rangers personnel in different parts of Lyari and Bheempura, here on Monday. According to a Rangers spokesman, 14 SMGs, 5 rifles, 8 pistols, 41 home-made bombs, and hundreds of bullets were recovered during the raids. The raids were carried out on information provided by already arrested suspects. The weapons were meant to be used to disrupt peace in Karachi, said the Rangers spokesman.
