Patron-in-chief of Pakistan Hindu Council and Member National Assembly Dr Ramesh Kumar Vankwani has termed the marking of Eid Milad-ul Nabi (PBUH) and Christmas together as a positive sign for peace and prosperity. Addressing as the chief guest during the annual Christmas celebration, he emphasised to support the Operation Zarb-e-Azb and Rangers Operations in Karachi to ensure peace across the country. Renowned Bishop Kaleem John and other religious leaders were also present on the occasion.
"Teachings of all religions asked their followers to respect other religions," Dr Rameh said, while terming this essential key element to establish a peaceful society. Ramesh, who is also popular among all religious elements for his efforts to promote interfaith harmony, urged for participation in other religious festivals, saying that doors of Hindu festivals, organised by Pakistan Hindu Council, are always open to all, either they are Hindu, Muslim or Christian.
