Three people of a family including a woman and two children were killed on Thursday when a power cable fell on a house in Basti Sabu near Bangla Acha area of Rahim Yar Khan. According to details, the incident occurred in the house of a resident Rasool Baksh and claimed the lives of his 75-year-old mother Azeema Mai, 11-year-old son Shakeel and eight-year-old daughter Jameela. Rasool Baksh and his wife remained safe as they were out for work. All the equipment in the house burnt to ashes including the cattle which consisted of 10 buffaloes and four goats.
