Pakistan Chemicals and Dyers Merchant Association (PCDMA) Chairman Khawaja Arif has welcomed the decision of BMP of nomination former chairman of PCDMA Chaudhry Muhammad Naseer as its candidate for the seat of Vice president in upcoming election of FPCCI.
However, Former President of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and leader of Businessmen Group (BMG) Siraj Kassam Teli reconfirmed the policy of BMG with regards to FPCCI's upcoming elections that our stance remained the same as compared last year that Businessmen Group is not supporting nor participating in these elections as we believe that bogus and fake associations/chambers still exist. Siraj Teli was thankful to the leadership of both the groups for making the commitment once again to cleanse FPCCI from all such fake/ bogus entities. We will continue to watch which group is interested more in the compliance of Trade Organisation Ordinance (TOO) 2013 and getting rid of fake/bogus chambers and Associations as both the groups have a good number of them under their umbrellas.
