Chairman of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Dr Tahirul Qadri has in the strongest possible words condemned the terrorism incident in Mardan and has expressed his grief over the loss of innocent lives. He said those who were responsible for that act of terrorism were the murderers of humanity and wanted to sabotage the prevailing peace in the country.
Slating the suicide attack, the PAT chief said that a handful of terrorists want to bring a bad name to Islamabad and the country. Dr Tahirul Qadri said those people could in no way be Muslims because "Islam is a religion of peace, tranquillity and love."
He said incompetent rulers and the parliament were asleep and were least bothered about such incidents as they themselves were facilitators of terrorists, adding had rulers been serious in eliminating terrorism and had the 20 points of the National Action Plan implemented such incident would never occur.
