Pakistan Stock Exchange: Prime Minister to inaugurate first trading session on January 11: MD LSE

Lahore Stock Exchange Managing Director Aftab Iqbal Chaudhry said on Wednesday that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will inaugurate the first trading session on the Pakistan Stock Exchange on January 11. He revealed this while speaking with the media during an awareness session called "Pakistan capital market vision-2016." He said the building of the Lahore Stock Exchange would be converted into a non-banking finance company while some of its infrastructure would remain in the use of the Pakistan Stock Exchange. "Under the golden handshake policy, most of the exchange staff has been axed and some will be hired for the proposed non-banking finance company," he added.
