Green Crescent Trust (GCU) and Sindh Education Foundation (SEF) have signed an agreement to establish 19 schools in Sindh. SEF Director Programmes, Rafique Mustafa and CEO Green Crescent Trust, Zahid Saeed have signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. According to the agreement, more than 19 schools will be established in Karachi and remote areas of Sindh.
In this joint effort of SEF and Green Crescent Trust these schools will be established within first half of current year. Green Crescent Trust is working for education since two decades and has established more than 134 schools all over Sindh with more than 23,000 students, however SEF which is working for spreading literacy in rural Sindh and the trust is going to establish more schools in remote areas, including this GCT has a plan to establish 30 more schools in Sindh.
On this occasion, CEO of Green Crescent Trust Zahid Saeed said that we are working for equal right to education of every citizen since decades, keeping this goal in mind the trust is establishing educational institutions in rural areas of Sindh. He also said that Green Crescent Trust is providing standard education to the poor students. On this occasion, Assistant Director Programmes Hadi Khan, Chief Operating Officer of GCT Abid Anwar, Director Schools Asif Siddiqui and Faizan Javed were also present.
