Ordnance Club Wah Cantt arranged a Mazahia Mushaira in which prominent poets of the country participated. Lieutenant General Omar Mahmood Hayat, HI (M) Chairman POF Board was the chief guest on this occasion. Tabassum Rehman DICR and Member POF Board in the opening remarks said that literary activities are held continuously in the city. The number of writers / poets of national level hailed from Wah Cantt due to literary environment in the city, he added.
Prominent poets including Professor Anwer Masood, Sarfraz Shahid, Dr Inam ul Haq Javed, Khalid Masood, Dr Saeed Iqbal Saadi, Suleman Gillani, Shahbaz Chohan, Muhammad Arif & Khalid Multani participated in the Mushaira. Professor Anwar Masood entertained the participants with his poetry in typical style which was applauded by the audience. Jawad Hassan Jawad conducted Mushaira. Secretary Ordnance Club Muhammad Tariq Mehboob thanked the participants & poets for attending Mazahia Mushaira and assured the members of Club that the management of Club will make every possible effort to arrange such recreational activities in future also.-PR
