PR finalizing arrangements to operate two new trains, Mianwali Express & Margala Express
RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Railways (PR) is finalizing arrangements to operate Rawalpindi-Mianwali train service from September 14 and Margala Express from September 15.
According to a PR spokesman, the Mianwali Express will start from Rawalpindi and reach its destination Kundian via Golra Sharif, Tarnol Halt, Fatehjang, Bosal, Jand and Mianwali.
Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has announced Rawalpindi-Mianwali train service from September 14.
He has also directed the authorities concerned of PR Rawalpindi Division to provide additional facilities to the people.
The train will depart Rawalpindi Railway Station at 7 am and reach its destination, Mianwali, in five hours. The train will depart for Rawalpindi at 2 pm.
PR on the directive of Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has also decided to run another new train Margala Express which will be operated from September 15.
Margala Express will depart Margala Railway Station at 7.20 pm and reach at Rawalpindi Railway station at 7.45 pm.
The train will reach Lahore at 12.15 am.
Similarly, the Margala Express will start its journey from Lahore at 8 pm and reach Rawalpindi at 12.15 am and its arrival at Margala Railway Station will be at 12.55 am.
