Divisional Commissioner Hyderabad, Qazi Shahid Pervez has issued directives to mark cleanliness week from January 20. According to details, the Divisional Commissioner chaired a meeting to the officials of Hyderabad Development Authority (HDA) while addressing the meeting the divisional commissioner directed the officials HDA to ensure the previsions facilities to the citizens of Hyderabad without any discriminations so that the problems of citizens could be resolved as soon as possible.
He directed that there should not be uncovered sewerage drains in the city if any sewerage drain found uncovered and garbage's heaps than a stringent action would be taken against the concerned officers. Open drains are often the most common in city's urban areas and the presences of the open drains caused by frequent blockages with rubbish and construction debris are likely in collector sewers and often children may play with the raw sewage, the commissioner said.
He said Sindh government believes in provisions of facilities to citizens of Hyderabad without any discrimination. In this regard, CM Qaim ali Shah has given special directives to divisional commissioner Hyderabad to provide cleanliness and other facilities to the Hyderabad's citizens.
