Toyota Highway Motors is organising the third edition of the Hub Rally in Nooriabad, Karachi at super highway from January 30-31. The rally, aimed at celebrating restoration of peace in Karachi and providing a platform for passionate drivers, will feature international as well as local drivers driving up to 100 cars.
Sharing his thoughts on the highly anticipated event, chief organiser and the CEO of Toyota Highway Motors, Shujaat Sherwani said: "Through this rally, we are not only celebrating a peaceful Karachi, but also providing the country's passionate race drivers with a chance to satisfy their urge for race driving which cannot be done on normal city roads especially in a bustling city like Karachi." Japanese driver Hero Takahashi, the Formula-A1 champion with an excellent record, will be the star attraction of the event, he added.
The rally will feature a special 35-kilometre international standard off-road track with a rugged terrain including sandy, muddy, rocky and mountainous areas in Nooriabad in which the competition will be staged. Opening on January 30, the rally will have qualifying rounds and best 50 drivers will qualify for the main competition. Events will be held in 4,000, 3,000, 2,000, 1,500 and 1,300 CC cars in the Turbo contest.-PR
