CoAS visits Charsadda

Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Wednesday reached Charsaeda and visited Bacha Khan University and met troops of law enforcement agencies who carried out operation. According to a tweet by Director General Inter Services Public Relation (ISPR), Lieutenant General Asim Salim Bajwa, the CoAS expressed grief over the loss of lives in the tragic incident.
He appreciated timely response from troops of Peshawar. Later, the CoAS visited Charsadda hospital and inquired about the health of the injured. The troops of Pakistan Army were immediately deployed who carried out operation. As many as four terrorists were killed at the hands of security forces during the operation.
