Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has strongly condemned the terrorist attack at Bacha Khan University Charsadda and expressed his deepest sense of grief and sorrow on loss of precious lives. He also reiterated their commitment to continue struggle against terrorism and militancy till the end of the last terrorist.
In his condemn statement on Wednesday, he said both the federation and the province were on one page against the terrorism and the national action plan was also being implemented successfully. However, he said the peace in Afghanistan was also imperative to eliminate the terrorism.
It showed be mentioned here the Chief Minister along with other members of cabinet was out of country on their five days visit. But he decided to cancel his visit and come back to Pakistan due to the terrorists attack at Bacha Khan University on Wednesday. Talking on telephone with local news channel, before his departure for the country, he said that terrorist could not weaken our commitment to root out the terrorism. Highlighting the role of province in war against terrorism, he stated that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was facing critical situation since last decade and rendered huge sacrifices for the peace that had also been admitted by the international community. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also urged masses to help out the government and security forces in order to defeat the terrorism and to ensure peace and harmony in the society. Pervez Khattak also directed the authorities concerned to ensure efficient medical facilities for the injured persons of incident.
