A petition for recovery of an assistant professor of Punjab University Institute of Administrative Sciences Ghalib Atta has been filed before the Lahore High Court. The petitioner Asma Ghalib wife of the detainee through secretary Supreme Court Bar Association Asad Manzoor Butt said her husband is in custody of Counter Terrorism Department for his alleged links with banned outfit.
She said the personnel of a law enforcement agency picked her husband from their house on December 7, 2015 and later she came to know from media reports that her husband was arrested on charges of his alleged relations with Daesh and other banned outfits. She said her husband had no association with any banned organisation.
