Grays of Cambridge International, a leading name in sports goods and accessories has announced to sell its equity investment in Pakistani associate Grays of Cambridge (Pakistan) to the Anwar Khawaja Group. Talking to reporters Saturday night Paul Gray said that the step has been taken to reflect a shift in the strategy of the Grays Group globally.
The Grays family has been associated with the Anwar Khawaja family of Sialkot for the past 52 years, ever since the establishment of the joint venture between William Gray and Anwar Khawaja in 1963. Paul Gray lauded the leadership of Khawaja and the hectic efforts of his team to develop the sports goods business successfully. He emphasised that the sale of its investment and the consequent change of name of the company would not affect the existing plans.
