Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser has said that Pakistani expatriates through their remittances are playing a vital role in the country's development. The KP Assembly Speaker, who is currently visiting England, was taking different Pakistani delegations in Scotland, says a message received here on Sunday.
Lauding the role of Pakistan expatriates in the country's progress and development, Qaiser said that their positive contribution and hard work is acknowledged not only by the government, but also by their countrymen, as well. He hoped that Pakistani expatriates would send more and more remittances for improving socio-economic conditions of the country.
He said that Pakistan, particularly Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is the frontline state in the war against terror which, he added, has badly affected the country's economy and employment situation. On this occasion, KP Assembly speaker expressed his sympathies with the bereaved families of all those who were martyred in Bacha Khan University carnage and prayed for early recovery of those injured in the brutal attack.
Pakistani delegations also condemned attacks on Army Public School Peshawar and Bacha Khan University and expressed sympathies with the members of the bereaved families.
