An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Tuesday reissued non-bailable arrest warrants of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain among 23 party workers and leaders in hate speech case. The investigation officer filed a report in the matter which stated that the MQM chief was in London while other nominated members were in Pakistan but none had been arrested.
The officer requested for more time to arrest the persons. The court granted time to the authorities. The case was registered against MQM chief Altaf Hussain for allegedly inciting the people against the government and national institutions through provocative speeches and leaders Dr Farooq Sattar, Khalid Maqbool Siddique, Haider Abbas Rizvi and others for listening and arranging the same at Gadap Police Station.
