Some unidentified persons lobbed a cracker at a Rangers' picket in North Nazimabad on Friday. No loss of life was reported in the incident. Following the incident, heavy contingent of law enforcers, including police, Rangers and BDS personnel, rushed to the spot. They cordoned off the area and collected evidences from the scene. According to Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), the bomb weighing 250 grams was stuffed in a bottle.
Meanwhile, the paramilitary troops claimed to have arrested a notorious target killer from Kharadar area of the city. The alleged criminal was identified as Adnad aka AD. During interrogation, he confessed to involvement in 17 murder cases.
