Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry senior vice president Turab Ali Khoja has appealed the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to consider the demands of United Transport Alliance. He said that if the United Transport closes down the business, it may create a scarcity of commodities, medicines, machinery, fertiliser and raw material across the country.
In this regard, industries would suffer and at the same time business community likely to face difficulties in consignment of imports and exports. Due to unavailability of transports and rise extra charges in costumes demurrage will be tolerated to the importers while masses had to face difficulties caused by products' scarcity in markets.
