32 factories, units sealed

District Environment Officers along with the teams raided 1102 units during a 10-day campaign of Environment Department against the units involved in illegal trade, recycling and storing of hospitals' waste throughout the province. The department sealed 32 factories and units on violation, registered FIRs and recovered 240 kg hospitals' waste. It may be mentioned that Environment Department has constituted two special squads each in all districts.
