Google Chrome receives major redesign as it turns 10
This weekend Google Chrome celebrated its 10th birthday. As a gift for its users, Google decided to make Chrome go through a major redesign for users across the globe.
Google’s search engine Chrome celebrated its 10th anniversary few days ago. Taking advantage of the occasion, Google unveiled a major upgrade of the web browser, incorporating numerous new features for users’ feasibility.
As of for the apparent changes, the trapezoidal tabs have been changed to more straightforward designs like vertical edges and curved corners to make web icons look easier when there are a lot of tabs opened. Also, menus, prompts and addresses have been made much simpler and the toolbar too has been shifted to the bottom for iOS users, making it easier to reach.
Google Chrome will now auto-download articles to read offline
Advancements have also been made to its search bar which now displays some answers directly in the address bar, a feature that is aimed to spare users from opening a new tap just to check a minor thing. Chrome has also enhanced its password management with built-in password generation and smarter recognition that will suggest, save and sync passwords for users itself to keep them from using the same password over and over again.

Moreover, users can now make use of the new tab page to both create new site shortcuts along with being able to customize the background and adjust icons for those just-opened tabs. Also, as a minor attraction in Chrome’s 404 page-not-found dinosaur game, the T-rex will get a birthday cake that will give him a party hat.
Google says that these updates have a simpler look and is intended to boost productivity. Furthermore, Google has started Chrome’s new version to be available across all desktop and mobile platforms.
