It touched an intraday high of 19,422.58 points and an intraday low of 19,186.35 points and closed at 19,401.10 points which was 215.91 points or 1.13 percent higher than previous close. Total volume was 79,587,700, which was 59.24 percent of KSE All share volume and 76.83 percent of KSE 100 volume. The KSE All Share volume was 134,352,120 and KSE 100 volume was 103,584,030.

BR Cement Index closed at 5,585.18 points with a net positive change of 46.36 points or a percentage change of 0.84 and a total turnover of 16,575,000 shares. BR Oil and Gas Index closed at 2,708.06 points with a net positive change of 22.61 points or a percentage change of 0.84 and a total turnover of 13,886,200 shares.
BR Tech & Comm Index closed at 1,036.81 points with a net positive change of 16.05 points or a percentage change of 1.57 and a total turnover of 9,964,000 shares. BR Power Generation and Distribution Index closed at 6,394.65 points with a net positive change of 21.86 points or a percentage change of 0.34 and a total turnover of 8,316,600 shares.
