Trade bodies should actively participate in budget formulation right now to save themselves from the budget related hazards, said Chaudhary Muhammad Nawaz, President Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce Industry (FCCI). "We are not only earning for ourselves but we have to work for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan as well and in this context we have to resolve business related issues on top priority basis." He said that it is a regular phenomenon that most of the trade bodies remain mum during the budget formulation and later they continue to protest and make hue and cry throughout the year.
He said, "We must shun this tendency and play our role well in time by fully participating in the process of budget formulation." He told that immediately after his election, he had convened the first meeting of the trade bodies of the city. It was well attended meeting in which most of the problems were identified with proper solutions.
